Feeding challenges, developmental delays, and the transition into motherhood rarely exist in isolation. Jacklynn's dual board certifications in Occupational Therapy and Lactation Consulting (IBCLC) helps her look at everything from how your baby moves, regulates, feeds, and grows to how mom’s doing throughout the process.

the tiny feeding co. difference
occupational therapist + lactation consultant
Jacklynn Knotts, OTR/L, CNT, IBCLC holds two of the most specialized credentials in infant care: Registered & Licensed Occupational Therapist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
IBCLC’s are recognized as the “gold standard” of lactation care as they offer the highest level of lactation care. This means that through her dual lens as a motor therapist and lactation provider, she is able to provide comprehensive evidence based care that addresses the full body to address feeding difficulties.
CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Join us!
We offer multiple different types of classes & workshops throughout the year, so please feel free to join us for one or all!
Lactation & OT care designed for every stage of pregnancy, postpartum, and infancy.
WHAT WE OFFER
Breastfeeding & Lactation Support
Our breastfeeding and lactation services are provided by our International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and are designed to support families quickly during the early weeks and months of breastfeeding and chest feeding.
These services encompass care for both parent and baby, and the visit price reflects support for both. IBCLC services are private pay.
These visits focus on:
Functional feeding observation
Mastitis management
Breast pump guidance & flange sizing
Pumping routines
Return-to-work planning
Breastfeeding / chestfeeding support
Positioning and latch
Milk transfer and feeding efficiency
Parent education and confidence-building
Low- or over-supply of milk
Oral Function & Tethered Oral Tissues
We can also provide a quick occupational therapy screen if appropriate. The screening is designed to determine whether your baby would benefit from occupational therapy instead of lactation support alone, based on suspected oral motor, posture, body, or strength deficits.
Please be aware that if it’s deemed appropriate and agreed to by the parents/guardians, this is not a full occupational therapy evaluation and is only used to indicate if a full OT evaluation would be beneficial for your baby.
We almost always recommend a lactation visit first since we’re able to get you in quickly and without a referral from a prescribing provider.
Occupational Therapy Services
Infant & pediatric occupational therapy services are provided separately and in accordance with insurance requirements.
If you’re worried about tummy time, noticing a flat spot on your baby’s head, or are concerned that torticollis or early developmental delays may be part of the picture, we can help!
If occupational therapy is recommended, services may include both breastfeeding/chestfeeding and bottle-feeding support when clinically indicated. A prescription from a primary care provider can be required depending on your insurance plan.
Our therapy toolbox includes:
Craniosacral therapy
Myofascial release
Total Motion Release
Muscle strengthening & activity tolerance
Therapeutic tummy time
Neonatal Touch and Massage Therapy
Developmental play
Therapeutic Breast Ultrasound
Struggling with clogged ducts, scar tissue or fibrosis, mastitis, or something else breast-related? Therapeutic breast ultrasound can help!
This service requires a prescription from a physician and is able to be added on as a standalone service for either lactation or OT services.
Therapeutic ultrasound (used by clinicians, not diagnostic imaging) delivers sound waves that can:
Increase blood flow to the tissue
Promote tissue healing and remodeling
Reduce inflammation
Help break down scar tissue or adhesions
Support lymphatic drainage and fluid movement
Virtual Consultations & Parent Coaching
This virtual consult is an educational session designed to provide general information, guidance, and support related to infant feeding and developmental questions. During this session, we will discuss your concerns, review observations, and provide evidence-informed education to help you better understand your child’s development.
Please note: This consultation is meant to offer guidance and information, and is not therapy. It doesn't create a therapist–client relationship. Everything shared here is educational, and while we hope it's helpful, it's not a replacement for personalized medical or therapeutic care. If it feels like more support would be beneficial, we'll be happy to talk through options and point you in the right direction.

What Jackee has to say:
“I am a lucky mother of 4, all of whom I’ve breastfed. I’ve been through preterm birth & two NICU stay’s with successful transition back to exclusive breastfeeding from bottle feeding after discharge, delayed lactogenesis II, over supply, tongue ties with a release, painful latches, poor weight gain, tandem feeding, and difficulty weaning. Having been through so many speed bumps within my own journey though motherhood and breastfeeding, I am passionate about supporting helping mothers during their transition into motherhood. I never wanted another mother to feel the lack of support I felt during my difficulties, so I founded Nurture Development & Lactation to address a need in our community.“
FAMILY STORIES
Families who found their way forward with
tiny feeding co.
“I would recommend Jacklynn’s services to anyone in need of support & guidance in a heartbeat! Working with her I was able to learn how to have a positive, pain free experience nursing my first baby. She guided me in latching techniques, and body balancing activities for my newborn. She also provided amazing support during a difficult time with mastitis, offering lymphatic massage and advice to manage pain.
So grateful to have been supported through this journey!“
“I have so many great things to say about Jackee that I don't even know where to begin! I am so grateful for her and forever will be! I had my first baby and breastfeeding has been a difficult journey for me and Jackie has been by my side since the beginning. My first 4 months consisted of mainly pumping because of my baby's latch.
After months endless pumping and working with Jackie I am now 7 months pp and exclusively breastfeeding! I honestly can't thank her enough! She has been so supportive and there are many times when I wanted to give up and she stuck right by my side. I saw 2 other LC's at the beginning and they were nothing compared to the knowledge and compassion that Jackie has. I highly recommend her to everyone! If you are having trouble breastfeeding please see Jackee she will really help you and she cares! I promise you will not regret it!”
“Jackie is absolutely fantastic! Being a first time mom she helped me through the first few days of latching issues and helping guide me to bring up my milk supply. She also supported me with starting to pump and different techniques. Truly appreciate all her help and would highly recommend!“
