Meet Jacklynn Knotts
OT + IBCLC
Jacklynn Knotts is El Paso's only Occupational Therapist (OT) who is also dual certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a combination that puts her in a unique position to support your baby and your family in ways most providers simply can't.
With over 10 years of experience working with medically fragile infants in early childhood intervention and a Level IV NICU, Jacklynn has spent her career specializing in infant feeding, swallowing, and development. She has guided families through some of the most vulnerable moments of early parenthood, and she brings that same steady, knowledgeable presence to every family she works with.
But Jacklynn's expertise isn't just professional. It's deeply personal.
She founded Tiny Feeding Co. (formerly Nurture Development & Lactation) after her own experience as a preemie mom, navigating the complicated, emotional world of breastfeeding and bottle-feeding following her baby's NICU stay. She went on to successfully breastfeed all four of her children beyond two years each, through challenges including preterm birth, failure to thrive, tethered oral tissues, tandem breastfeeding, and supply struggles.
Jacklynn built this practice because no parent should have to face all of this alone.
How We Can Help
Jacklynn's dual licensure means she can meet your family where you are, no matter what you & your tiny little love’s needs are.
As an IBCLC, Jacklynn offers private-pay lactation services with no referral required and no insurance barriers to navigate. This means shorter wait times, faster access to support, and more flexibility to focus entirely on you and your baby. Whether you're struggling with latch, low supply, painful nursing, or feeding after a complicated birth, she's ready to help, often sooner than you'd expect.
As an Occupational Therapist, Jacklynn screens for developmental and feeding concerns that may benefit from a deeper level of therapeutic support, and works within insurance limits for families who need OT services. If she sees something during a lactation visit that warrants a closer look, she has the training and credentials to address it.
